All of Us Pennsylvania

With nearly 322,000 residents taking part since 2017, All of Us Pennsylvania (AoUP) is the single largest concerted effort to understand what makes Pennsylvanians sick or healthy. The mission of AoUP is simple: to speed up medical breakthroughs through health research that is not a one size fits all.

SHRS Wellness Pavilion

To make it easier for residents of Homewood and the surrounding communities to live healthier lives, the Wellness Pavilion at the Homewood Community Engagement Center provides interactive educational sessions, services, special events and programming to make health and wellness services more accessible.

High School Summer Internship Program

While many high school students spend their summers relaxing, two high school juniors spent their summer tackling the serious topics of maternal morbidity and mortality through the High School Summer Internship (HSSI) program.

Grace Lamsam Pharmacy Program

The Grace Lamsam Pharmacy Program (GLPP) is tackling health care disparities such as these through partnerships around the region. Since 1995, GLPP has improved pharmaceutical access by optimizing the availability of free or low-cost medicines and medication therapy management.

Student Community Outreach Program and Education

Created in 2001, Pitt Dental's Student Community Outreach Program and Education (SCOPE) aims to create a learning environment where students can expand their personal and professional insights, enable development of cultural competencies and gain experience by working in a variety of cultural, community and office settings.
